Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information System or any related field.
Skills / Knowledge
- IoT/OT Protocols and Connectivity: Understanding of MQTTs, HTTP/REST, Modbus, ProfiBus, Profinet TCP/UDP with practical exposure to LoRa WAN, NB-IoT, LTE-M, BLE AoA / UWB, Zigbee and WiFi.
- Embedded Systems Foundations: Basic Understanding in embedded systems, microcontroller prototyping, plc, edge-computing design, PCB layout principles and electronic components.
- Systems & Network Architecture: Understanding of High-availability, fault-tolerant design; IP networking (IPv4/IPv6 addressing, subnetting, routing, NAT, VPN).
- Vendor & Ecosystem Management: Evaluate and qualify third-party sensors, gateways, and cloud platforms from both technical and commercial perspectives; negotiate and govern SLAs; drive seamless multi-vendor integration.
- Soft / Leadership Skills: Business-value storytelling; Multitasking; Working with cross-functional teams; Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills.
Candidates holding any of the following certifications will be highly regarded:
- CompTIA Network+
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent
- Certified associate in project management

Job Description
Drive the design and end-to-end delivery of enterprise-grade IoT and edge-to-cloud solutions that convert customer business problems into repeatable, revenue-generating products for Onsor.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilites
- Solution Architecture & Design Leadership: Own the end-to-end architecture lifecycle – customer premises surveys, gap analysis through detailed design, and documentation - ensuring every solution is feasible, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and Onsor’s use cases roadmap; Maintain architecture aligned with industry standards and compliances.
- Pre-Sales Enablement & Proposal Development: Translate business requirements into technical proposals and ROI models; partner with Sales Engineers to articulate solution value to both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Cost Optimization & ROI Ownership: Model total cost of solution components and services, utilize pricing tiers, and present clear financial breakdowns and justifications.
- Proof-of-Concept & Continuous Improvement: Plan, execute, and evaluate PoCs; Capture metrics and lessons learned to refine proposals, improve time-to-market, and expand component re-use across projects.
- Vendor & Technology Governance: Assess and select hardware, connectivity and cloud components; negotiate with vendors and ensure adherence to industry standards and Onsor’s preferred technology track.
- Industry & Technology Insight: Stay ahead of IoT, edge, AI/cloud trends and Business Analytics; continuously upskill and disseminate knowledge to keep Onsor’s offerings and teams at the leading edge.
- Knowledge Management & Documentation: Create architecture diagrams, deployment and integration guides.
